SiteRenewer

A new look for the whole site, not just the home page.

Redesigns usually stop at the pages people see first, and the archive keeps the old look for years. SiteRenewer renews the entire site in one pass: colors, images and presentation, on every page, including sites with hundreds of articles.

01

One look, everywhere.

SiteRenewer applies the new palette, type and image treatment to every page and post, so an article from five years ago looks like it belongs to the same site as the one published this morning.

02

Images renewed at scale.

Featured images and in-article images are the slowest part of any redesign. SiteRenewer replaces or restyles them across the whole archive, consistently, instead of leaving a mix of old and new.

03

Done once, and done.

SiteRenewer is a single job with a beginning and an end, not a subscription. When the renewal is finished, the site is yours to run as before.

What it changes and what it leaves alone

SiteRenewer works on how the site looks. It does not rewrite your articles, change your addresses or reorganize your topics, so the work that already earns you traffic stays where it is. If the structure needs work too, WebsiteSecondLife handles that separately, and if something is broken, WebShapeUp repairs it. Keeping the jobs apart means you can always tell which change caused what.

Google’s own advice for site changes is to change one thing at a time. A visual renewal that leaves addresses and content untouched is the kind of change that is easiest for search engines to absorb.

Frequently asked questions

Does SiteRenewer change my theme?

It can move the site to one of our themes, or renew the look within the theme you have, depending on what the site needs. Either way your content stays as it is.

How large a site can it handle?

It was designed for large archives, with hundreds of pages and more. Small sites can be renewed by hand; large ones are where doing it by hand stops being realistic.

Is it a subscription?

No. It is a one-time job.
